The BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resources Management is designed to teach people management skills and knowledge of current legislation, with a focus on staff recruitment, performance management, and industrial relations.
This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience in the industry. It will equip learners to work in numerous HR support positions across large, medium, or small businesses. The course covers digital collaboration, document writing, effective workplace relationships, HR functions and processes, employee lifecycle coordination, industrial relations procedures, WHS policies, performance development, learning and development for teams and individuals, and project work.

It is recommended that the students
- Have language, literacy and numeracy skills that ensure the ability to read and comprehend technical terms and communicate effectively through email. These skills are equivalent to those that would be required to successfully complete Year 12 or ACSF Level 3, except ACSF Level 4 for Learning.
- You will need to have completed Year 12, or a qualification at Certificate III level or higher
