This course prepares you to work directly with Allied Health professionals, providing support in treatment plans, rehabilitation, and patient care in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, and community centres. You’ll receive the HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance from Foundation Education (RTO: 22557) upon completion. This course includes a mandatory work placement.

Prerequisite & Entry Criteria

  • Age: 18+ (or parental/guardian approval if under 18)
  • Residency: Permanent Australian Resident or equivalent
  • Education: No formal education requirements
  • Pre-screening: LLN pre-assessment required
  • Work Placement: 120 hours of mandatory work placement
  • Technology: Laptop or desktop computer with working speakers or headphone points, high-speed internet
  • Software: Flash, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word/Open Office
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform manual tasks, meet health standards for placement
  • External Requirements: HLTAID011 Provide First Aid must be completed externally
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Available for those with relevant experience

*Payment plan total is $100 deposit + 78 weekly payments. Foundation Education uses the direct debiting services of Debitsuccess on payment plans.
