Students will require a Working with Children Check.
There is also a work placement requirement for this course. 360* hours of supervised work placement at a regulated Early Childhood Service that caters for children between the ages 0 – 6. A minimum of 120 hours of this work placement is required to be completed with babies and toddlers 0 – 2 of years of age. Students must have a Diploma trained staff member supervising them throughout the work placement hours.
*If you have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, only a further 240 hours of work placement is required.
