The CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support will provide you with the skills and knowledge to offer one-on-one learning opportunities to students in need of additional support. This qualification is delivered using a combination of online learning and hands-on work in a classroom, giving you the practical experience to succeed in a variety of education support roles under the leadership of education professionals.
Units covered in this course include supporting students with mathematics, literacy learning, and much more. Please find a full list of units further below. Assessments will include a range of quizzes, knowledge questions and case studies. Students will also need to undertake workplace projects and observations and will be required to submit video evidence of their learnings.
Upon completion of this course, you will be issued with a CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support by Foundation Education (RTO: 22557).
Please note that this unit has a workplacement requirement of 100 hours of work in a classroom environment catering to primary or secondary school students, within at least one school in Australia.

*This course contains a unit, HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting, which must be completed through an external RTO. Foundation Education has an agreement in place with Red Cross Australia (RTOID 3605) which allows students to receive training for this unit at a reduced price. Red Cross Australia is a third-party training provider who conduct training and assessment services on behalf of Foundation Education. Please note that the cost of this external training is not included in any of your course fees.

*Payment plan total is $100 deposit + 78 weekly payments. Foundation Education uses the direct debiting services of Debitsuccess on payment plans. Payment plans will incur a $12 establishment fee, charged with the first instalment, plus a 3.63% transaction fee on each transaction.
