Prerequisite & Entry Criteria

Education

Applicants must have successfully completed Year 11 or equivalent or be of mature age. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Holmesglen also requires that all applicants possess the following abilities:

Turn on a computer.
Connect to the internet.
Use a mouse, keyboard, headset with a microphone or speakers, and a webcam.
Open and close a software application.
Conduct a search in a web browser.
Use webinar software to participate in remote learning.

Resources Required

Applicants intending to learn remotely will require access to a PC computer or laptop with the following minimum specifications:

Quad-Core CPU
16GB of RAM
CPU with a minimum 2 GHz processor or faster
250GB of storage
Windows 10 OS, or virtual machine installed with Windows 10 OS (available free from
Headset with microphone (webcam optional but preferred)
Access to an internet connection

Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment via Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB) and a Pre-Training Review interview.
