The Certificate IV in Education Support is an online course that comprehensively covers all topics related to Education Support. The course is considered a step-up from the Certificate III in Education Support as it covers more topics including Students with disabilities and special needs.

This course enables various rewarding career paths within the Teacher Aide/ Assistant fields.

Topics covered in this online Education Support course include: Working with students in need of additional support, support learning, and working with diverse people.

At the completion of this course, you will be issued with a CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support by Foundation Education (RTO: 22557).

There is a work placement requirement for this course and students must apply for their Working with Children check at course commencement.

For mandatory work placement, students must have access to an education environment and a qualified teacher who is employed at the school. When required, Foundation Education will assist you in organising work placement at a location of your choosing.

  • Parent or Guardian approval for students under the age of 18
  • Permanent Australian Resident or equivalent
  • Mandatory work placement
  • Working with Children Check
  • Computer: Laptop or desktop computer with working speakers or headphone points
  • Internet: High-speed internet such as Broadband or ADSL, T1/T2, fibre optic (Dial-up access is not recommended)
  • Windows: Operating system – Windows 8 or above
  • Internet Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
  • MAC: Operating system – OS X 10.14 Mojave or later
  • Software: Flash, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word (or Open Office which is free to download)
