Australia is experiencing a demographic change due to our ever-growing ageing population. Projections suggest that Australia’s population aged 65 yrs and older will account for 18.85% of the population in 2031.
This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing. With the industry moving to follow individualised plans to provide a person-centred approach, you will learn how to tailor support, how to empower and communicate with clients, safe work practices and about the human body and supporting its healthy functioning

Upon completion of this course, you will be issued with a CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) by Collaboration Learning (RTO: 52247).
There is 120 hours of supervised work placement required within an approved facility. A Working with vulnerable people check including a National Police Check will be required prior to commencing placement

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. It’s preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent.
